Installing DQS is very simply if we have the prerequisite ready. Following are the steps involved in installing DQS.
Requirement: Install SQL Server Denali CTP 3 with DQS features.
Step 1: Execute the <Drive>\Program files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Binn\DQSInstaller.exe
Step 2: Enter 10 characters strong password and Press Enter
Step 3: Once the installation is complete, press enter to close the command window.
Step 4: Connect to SQL Server Denali instance and check for these two databases shown in the picture.
Step 5: Open DQS Client tool.
Step 6: Connect to DQS local server.
Step 7: Create DQ – Knowledge Base and Project.
