There are many categories of cloud computing in enterprise architecture. In which some of the features or services solves a specific problems as per business need.
Types of Cloud services that we can add in enterprise architecture are:
- Storage
- Database
- Software
- Platform
- Security
- Governance
- Testing
- Infrastructure
- Others, This list may grow when time moves forward.
What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is service that help enterprise add capacity on the fly without investing in new Infrastructure, software, training cost, software license cost and etc,.
In addition, cloud services is affordable as per the payment methodology such as Pay-per-use, Subscription-based, Open source (Free) and etc,.
My Definition for the Cloud Computing is
It is a service oriented computing technology, which has huge shared resources for computing, storage and other services spread across geographical locations and serves through internet (WWW).
