Unary Operators – SQL Server


Unary operators are used in a numeric expression. Unary operators are +, -, ~

These unary operators can be used to convert the sign of a numeric value.

An Instance:

Declare @ValueA as int = -2

print -@ValueA

Set @ValueA = -3

print +@ValueA

Set @ValueA = 5

Print ~@ValueA
 
 
String concatenation operator (+, +=)
Select 'Ayyappan' + ' ' + 'Thangaraj'
