Max of Primary Key

We create primary key column in the table to assign unique value for each record. Cluster index will also be created while creating primary key column.

we can have up to 16 columns as primary key column and the total size of the key columns should be less than or equal to 900 bytes.

Experiment:

Create a table with a column of varchar data type with size 901 and make that column as a primary key. A popup message will tell that you cannot have key column size more than 900.
