Lookup Table

Just a concept. It has been already discussed by data management experts. But, I just renew the thoughts.

What is OTLT (One True Lookup Table) or common lookup table or single source lookup table?
It is a place or a table to keep all the lookup data and maintain the single source for the data management. For instance, data loading for DWH.

-Easy manageability, which is the most necessary component of the life cycle of the data warehouse.
-Single source of data truth
